Hi there!
I'm Camryn! I am an Ohio wedding photographer for classic yet fun-loving couples. One of the joys of being a wedding photographer is getting the chance to hear so many wonderful love stories. I truly enjoy getting to know my couples, but you are probably wondering a little about me! Keep scrolling to learn more- I can't wait to meet you soon!
As cliché as it may be, my husband and my family are truly my biggest fans! They are the reason I was able to start my photography business and they continue to support me through all of the milestones I reach with my business. It was my parents who bought me my first camera when I was 14 and encouraged me when I started my business in high school- I definitely get my love of photography from my dad. My husband, Trevor, has always been such a big supporter of my entrepreneurship and will come along to my photoshoots to snag behind-the-scenes footage (what an angel!). And I was truly so lucky to marry into the most wonderful family where my in-laws are always rooting me on.
We met by a stroke of luck during our first year at Ohio State (I like to think of it as "fate"). Trevor chose his room in our sophomore year dorm and I got randomly placed right next door. Come to find out later, no one else on our floor even had the option to choose their room (fate indeed)! We became fast friends and enjoyed spending time with all our wonderful friends on the seventh floor. Soon, Trevor found out that I had never seen a Star Wars movie (or at least never paid attention to one...) and he made it his mission to watch them with me. We planned a weekly Star Wars watch party with our friends, all gathered in Trevor's dorm room, and I would find any excuse to sit next to him (and I think he was finally catching on). As our winter finals neared, Trevor and I spent countless hours studying organic chemistry in the library, talking about our winter break plans, and going to Panera for dinner together (some of our first "dates"). I was smitten and so was he. He asked me out on Valentine's Day 2016 (bold for sure) and here we are 7 years, 10 moves, 1 long distance stint, 3 states, and 2 animals later- married and starting our forever.

We are stereotypical pet parents for sure and our animals are part of the family! Meet Olive and Winnie. Olive, our kitty, was adopted in Oklahoma when I was living there for my dietetic internship. Once we moved to Colorado, there was no avoiding adopting a dog (Trevor might argue on that one)- so, enter Winnie, our adorable pup. Winnie is quite the adventurer and Olive the cutest snuggle bug.
If you ask anyone who knows me, they will instantly tell you that my favorite food is ice cream. Wherever I go I always try to find the local ice cream place to check out their flavors. Cookie dough is my favorite! My favorite ice cream of all time is Graeter's chocolate chip cookie dough.
I went to Ohio State for my undergraduate degree in nutrition. I worked for the school in many ways and truly enjoyed my entire experience. Plus, Trevor and I met at Ohio State so the school has a lot of meaning to me! If I'm not shooting a wedding on any given Saturday in the fall, then you will catch me watching the Buckeyes (very intensely- I probably scare our neighbors)!
Photography has always been my creative passion, but right alongside I have always loved the sciences. I graduated with my degree in Human Nutrition (and, yes ironically, my favorite food is ice cream). I currently work full-time as a dietitian and diabetes educator. I love trying new recipes, new restaurants, and new ice cream places!
Trevor and I absolutely LOVE skiing and it is actually where we got engaged! He totally surprised me by proposing on the top of Peak 9 at Breckenridge, one of our favorite skiing mountains. We always look forward to the winter so we can get a much needed ski trip in with our family and friends!
I have been photographing my friends and family since I was 14. In 2020, I decided to create my business and take a chance on myself. I have loved every second of meeting and learning about my couples, capturing their big moments, and delivering their galleries. Working with my clients and getting to be my extroverted self with them is why I absolutely love this job.
I love it when my couples feel comfortable in front of the camera and can just enjoy themselves. I want everyone to feel that type of confidence and we can achieve that when we use simple posing all while I'm hyping you up! The most satisfying part of being a wedding photographer is when I finally get to deliver your images- it's like giving you the most precious gift (gift giving is one of my love languages). Your wedding photos are truly a gift you can cherish for a lifetime, and it is such an honor when someone trusts me with that task. I never take it lightly and will always work my hardest to not only give you an enjoyable experience but also deliver your beautifully captured memories!
